A few miscellaneous tidbits:

Jim was 1 year and 2 days older than Ilene.  Although both lived in Huron, they met in high school at a high school basketball game in Mitchell.

Jim’s dad, Orville (O.D.) Dunbar, was principal of Huron High School for a number of years.  Reports in old yearbooks say that he was well-liked by the students.

Ilene’s mom, Jacobine Rundquist, also a long-time Huron resident, passed away in 2005, shortly before her 107th birthday.
